Hold on, it's a crazy ride.

Some are wondering why I haven't been blogging. I too have been wondering the same.

I just now realized the answer. There has been nothing of note to blog about. At least not at the frequency that most are used to. Another reason might be that I have been compiling various little bits and pieces from the past few weeks all to be included in this blog. But that may not be the case. We shall see.

Life is moving along quickly. It seems a little bit like you're on one of those rides at a theme park that is designed for kids. You know the ones with the oversized cards that look ridiculous that go along a preset rail really slow. That's how my life is going right now except that the acceleration control is messed up. So imagine just moving along fairly slowly and then suddenly you're hurtling down the rail at break-neck speed in an oversized vehicle that closely resembles a yellow and purple Model-T.

So yes, hold on. That has been the name of the game lately.

So I work at Citigroup. Yes, the bank that the government is giving so much of our money to. Luckily I have good job security. It just so happens that my specific department is kind of new at my site and there are not too many other people globally that take the calls my department does. We are usually pretty busy(sometimes as much as 100+ calls in a 10 hour day.) So no worries about job security and I do have about 5% of my 401k in Citigroup's stock so I am getting priced in pretty nice right now which is nice. So Citiwise everything is good!

Except the novelty has worn off. And let me tell you has it WORN OFF! But then I remind myself how good of a job I have compared to how easy my work is. And I look forward to progressing my life when I get back into school here in May.

So nothing new is going on here really. Nothing. I'm getting my car issues sorted. I have decided I'm not going to sell it for now. Maybe later in the year. But I need my own transportation right now so I'm going to go ahead and pay to get tags put on it and get the insurance turned back on. That car is cursed. It's a 75% hate 25% love thing.

Well that's about it. My life has just been working, budgeting, paying bills, spending some money on a few things(after all my birthday is coming up,) and that's really about it. How thrilling!! The summer can't get here soon enough.

Oh yea, I also volunteered myself to go run with my manager in a marathon. Apparently her and some other people are doing it as a relay so I'll have to run 6 miles. I haven't done any sort of serious exercise in years. I may be doomed. But I am going to try it..I have about a month and a half to try to see if I can resurrect some sort of athleticism I used to have.

And that is that.
