No Surprises and Crazy Celebrities

While looking at the news, today there are all kinds of stories out there. Ernesto, Karr, declining gas prices, Iran, etc. I saw something that caught my eye. So to kind of keep interesting content, I'm going to supplement my regular daily blogs about my own life with some things I think are interesting.

Michael Jackson turned 48 today.

Yes, it's true, the man who would have all of America think he is just a normal adult has passed another year in his life. But exactly how normal is he? I think most of the people I know would say that Mr. Jackson just plain nuts. Well..I shouldn't put words in anyone's mouth, but I'll say for myself that Michael Jackson is a moron. It's my personal opinion that he's a sick, twisted and confused man. But he would have us believe he's an upstanding citizen. Here's why that is all definitely not true.

Where has Mr. Jackson been since his trial? I personally haven't seen him on the news that much. Here's the answer. He has "self-exiled" himself from the US and is living mainly out of the Middle East island of Bahrain.

That's all well and good, he's a free man allowed to do whatever he pleases. Read on: According to FoxNews, many lawyers are suing him for unpaid attorney fees. When he's not in Bahrain, he is spending his time between Ireland and England. However, back in America, Mr. Jackson still faces legal actions, including a lawsuit for $48 Million that's proceeding in New York.

The infamous Neverland Ranch is abandoned with a $25 Million lien against it. Mr. Jackson owns his parent's home which is secured witha $2.2 Million mortgage. Mr. Jackson reportedly regularly misses payment on it as well and it has been scheduled for foreclosure.

All in all, Mr. Jackson seems to be hiding from America and his responsibilities. Who's really surprised here?

Then there's our good friend Thomas Mapother.

You know him as Tom Cruise. Mr. Top Gun, Mr. Mission Impossible. All that is gone now. The only things he is remembered for now is for jumping on furniture and ruining lucrative business relationships.

Tom Cruise had a very good life going. He was pulling in cash by the truckload. Next thing you know, he goes crazy. So crazy in fact, that Paramount canceled their deal with him and sent him out looking elsewhere to make films. That's pretty amazing when you consider what other celebrities have done and are still in Hollywood's good graces.

So what exactly could drive someone to go from making movies--very successfully so--to ruining his professional reputation? Excellent question indeed. I can't really answer it. Here's some things I've dug up on him.

Tom Cruise is evidently an expert in psychiatry. At least that's what he'd have you believe. He made some fairly bold statements as well, such as "There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance," and with regard to chemical imbalances, "..there is no science behind that." So basically, Mr. Mapother is telling the multitude of people who have devoted their entire lives to psychiatry that they are wrong. That's pretty bold. That's like me going to NASA and saying, "You guys don't know a thing about launching rockets, here, let me show you!"

And what's up with this scientology stuff? Again, these are my personal opinions. Alot of things with scientology just seem plain nuts to me. I may be dabbling in a realm that is none of my business here, but I think this is particularly stupid. The whole silent birth thing. How is this going to happen? Especially considering that scientologists don't believe in pain medicine. According to reports, Tom bought Katie, an i-pod to listen to. Also a special pacifier has been made. It was also made known that grandmother's were not allowed anywhere near anyone. And according to L. Ron Hubbard, "must be wrapped in a warm blanket, very soft, and then left alone for a day or so." Also, there must be no talking to the baby for a certain amount of time(unsure as to the exact amount.) So this is healthy?

I dunno. Maybe I'm way out of line. I guess that's why posts are able to be edited(deleted.) I just think the whole Tom Cruise situation is slightly humorous. Mainly how he makes a fool of himself on television. Also, he really is nuts. I'm sure of it. Just trying to spread the word. If anyone found this truly offensive, please let me know via email.

Well I'm off to take care of some things, then later on I'm gonna go help some people with getting all set up for Ernesto(run for the hills!)

Until next time....

I try to keep it semi-regular, I'm just a little late on it right now from working arond the place. Not really running to anyhills per se, just making light of the situation(Ernesto it turns out was only just a little rain, nothing to worry about)

Thanks again!

Thanks Jarod,
The Jacko information was gained almost entirely from Foxnews.com All quotes are verbatim or very close(taken straight from foxnews.com)

I got the idea for the Tom Cruise bit from Foxnews.com as well...images taken from searches done on Google Images and various information gleaned from my own personal research on the net. After all, that's what I usd to do for the Army....researching information and creating products.
